We began to explore music genres and research into what we would use for our production. We decided to research Pop, Dance and Electronic/House as these are what we listen to and know the songs well.
We decided that we would create a production using Pop music due to it having a wide range of songs, the most suitable lyrics and from previous research of music videos encompasses the style and effects we want to achieve. Pop music also appeals to a mass market and a wide audience range due to a high popularity compared to Dance and House which has selective listeners.
